Dover-Foxcroft – Willard R. Raymond, 72, passed away May 13, 2023, at a local hospital. He was born July 22, 1951, son of Willard C. Raymond and Lucille Raymond Farrar (both deceased). He is survived by his sisters, Phyllis Lyford, Debora Wagg, Cheryl Doore, June Cook, and their husbands. He was predeceased by sister, Dona Lee Shortall. Will leaves behind Aunt Doris and Uncle Robert Dean; as well as two special friends, Mike Stone and Bill Patterson. Will also leaves behind nieces, nephews, many cousins, close friends, and fellow referees. Will graduated from Foxcroft Academy in 1969 and served in the Navy. He dearly loved sports and was an umpire and referee for many local high school games.
Celebration of life at the Piscataquis Fairgrounds, near the game he loved, to take place on June 11, 2023, from 1-4 p.m.
