Classes for Prospective Basketball Officials |
Eastern Maine Board #111 of the International Association
of Approved Basketball Officials (IAABO) announces their training
classes for those interested in becoming certified basketball officials.
Classes will begin on Sunday September 28 starting at 6 pm at the Bangor
YMCA on Hammond St. in Bangor. Individuals must be at least 18 years old
to take the classes. Some distance learning through use of the Internet
will also be used to teach the classes.
Board #111 serves a wide area of Eastern Maine from Patten to Rockland
and Franklin to Greenville, officiating games from middle school through
varsity high school.
Instructor for these classes will be Dave Ames, Board #111 Interpreter.
